Hamat Calderon

Hamat was born in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to a Mexican mother and an American father, granting him dual citizenship with the United States and Mexico. He spent his earliest years in Mexico before relocating to Houston, Texas, at age three and a half, where he learned English and attended local primary schools.

From an early age, Hamat demonstrated a strong mechanical, technological, and musical aptitude, self-teaching electronics repair, computer programming, and classical instruments including the cello and piano. Throughout his youth in Houston, he engaged in hardware tinkering, soldering, and hands-on automotive repair. At age 16, he transitioned away from formal high school education to pursue independent technical ventures, setting up a home workspace for soldering, component-level repairs, and digital design.

Early media, publishing, and tech ventures (2015–2021)

Hamat began his formal media production career working as a photographer and media production assistant for local publications in Texas, including El Perico Newspaper, where he operated professional video systems. During this period, he collaborated closely with radio personalities and promoter networks across the Latin music and entertainment industry.

In 2016, Hamat relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he incorporated Magnitud LLC and launched Revista Magnitud, serving as CEO and managing director of publication design, web infrastructure, and advertising operations. Concurrently, he operated as a visual artist and photographer within the Southwestern Electronic Dance Music (EDM) event circuit under the performance persona Galactic Acid.

During the 2020 COVID-19 event sector pause, Hamat expanded into Linux system administration, building and managing True Anarchy, a custom self-hosted multiplayer Minecraft server network operating across high-capacity Linux storage nodes.

Touring media, event photography, and corporate design (2021–2024)

With the resumption of live events, Hamat worked as a festival photographer and media creator, documenting major music festivals and touring events across the United States, including Bass Canyon, Nocturnal Wonderland, Sound Haven, and Vegas Electric Parade. Throughout his touring and event career, he photographed prominent electronic dance music artists such as Excision, Level Up, Luca Lush, Taiki Nulight, Odd Mob, Modestep, Sean Perry, DJ Mars, and Pasquale Rotella.

In Las Vegas, Hamat contracted with venue company Corner Bar Management, producing venue media for high-profile Downtown Las Vegas locations including Park on Fremont, We All Scream, Commonwealth, Discopussy, Peyote, and more.

Transitioning into corporate brand design, Hamat joined Marahlago Jewelry as an in-house multimedia specialist. In this role, he produced video and print advertisements, performed photo color correction, edited user-generated content (UGC), and maintained the company's web infrastructure utilizing PHP and Webmin server management tools. His photographic work contributed to his listing with the Nevada local branch of SAG-AFTRA and media archive distribution through platforms such as Shutterstock.

Film production industry

Hamat expanded his scope into the commercial and narrative film production industry through technical crew operations and art department partnerships with SPCKRFT Studios. His film production credits include commercial work for high-profile brand collaborations, such as Meta Glasses commercial projects produced in partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) (viewable at YouTube). His production crew activity has been recognized in industry trade listings, including publications affiliated with SAG-AFTRA and regional production journals such as the Copcomm Trade Journal.

Manifest Dreams (2024–present)

Hamat founded Manifest Dreams, a Nevada-registered 501(c)(3) public charity non-profit organization, serving as its President. Established to "end the starving artist story," the organization provides independent creators with business infrastructure, spatial resources, and funding support so they can sustain long-term creative careers.

Operating out of Las Vegas in partnership with SPCKRFT Studios, Manifest Dreams aims to help the local community and breed a new generation of prosperity within the Las Vegas Arts District, creating jobs, educational opportunities, and resources that otherwise would not be available as a result lowering the bar of entry and increasing the potential for success.
